“The Hammer”
Meet Matt, lovingly called “The Hammer” for his unmatched drumming talent and relentless energy. His love for music, rooted in classic rock, began early. By eight, Matt was already mastering the drums, setting the stage for his musical journey. He broadened his horizons from concert and marching bands to the School of Rock at ten, exploring rock music deeply for eight years. Despite challenges like autism and ADHD, and not speaking until four, Matt’s passion for music and expression fueled his perseverance.
Matt’s journey extended to performing on stage and venturing into music and sports broadcasting, enriched by his lifelong commitment to league bowling and obstacle course training. Pursuing a degree in Communication Arts with a broadcasting focus, Matt is on track to graduate next year. Overcoming a stutter, he’s become a valued voice at NEWHD RADIO, aiming to revolutionize broadcasting. For Matt, it’s a platform to amplify his voice, share his passions, and inspire others.
